Women drawing in 3 versions we will tell in this exciting lesson! In this lesson, we will gradually draw a portrait of a beautiful women with a pencil. We will learn to build a face, determine proportions, and apply chiaroscuro with strokes!
Before you begin to draw a portrait of a women, make a few simple sketches to train your hand.

This is necessary so that the side is accustomed to draw curved lines – it will be easier for you to build a face. Women and men have dramatic differences in body structure. But, in the modern world, some women look like men because of their clothes and hairstyles.

However, no matter how a woman tries to resemble a man, we can still recognize her. The main distinguishing feature is the structure of the women’s body – it has wide hips and narrower shoulders (for men exactly the different indicators). When drawing a woman in full growth, it is worth starting from this basic rule, and the rest of the construction secrets can be learned from the phased lesson.

What materials do we need?

preferably a tablet for drawing (but optional)

So let’s immediately start drawing a beautiful woman!

Women drawing easy ( option 1)

Step 1

Let’s start creating! Take the pencil H in our hands and hold it at an angle of 45 degrees

Step 2

Draw the oval of the girl’s face in the center of the sheet – pay attention to the shape of the chin
Mark the neck with two curved lines.

Step 3

Divide the face into three equal parts. To do this, draw two horizontal lines – these are the marks of the edge of the nose and eyebrows.
Be sure to check if the parts of the face are equal. The proportions of the women’s faces depend on this.
We draw the axis of symmetry – a vertical line (we don’t want the face to be crooked?)
Step 4

But what about the hairstyle? We draw hair in smooth contours.
Please note that the hair is a little laid on the face.
Stage 4
Draw eyebrows above the previously drawn line. Our women have quite full eyebrows – just now in fashion 🙂
Next, you can draw lips. First, draw a line to close the lips. Next, outline the upper and lower lip.
The upper lip should be slightly smaller than the lower.
And of course, the nose! Mark the wings of the nose and enter the nostrils.

Stage 5
Getting started with eye painting! We outline a curved line – the axis on which the eyes will be
From the nose, we raise the perpendiculars (marked with a dash-dotted range). Thus we find the inner corners of the eyes.

Stage 6
Draw the eyes. The inner and outer corners of the eyes should be on a curved axis.
Pay attention to the shape of the eyes. They look like leaves!

Stage 7
Erase auxiliary construction lines with an eraser. Finally, we got rid of these obsessive lines!
The drawing is ready for more detailed picture.

Stage 8
We draw the upper and lower eyelids at each eye
We enter the iris and the pupil inside
We draw small glare inside the pupil

Stage 9
We begin to work with chiaroscuro. Start hatching your pupils with HB pencil to make them dark
Shade eyebrows with small strokes.
Draw the shadows under the eyelids

Stage 10
Volume lips. There is nothing impossible in the drawing!
We give lips volume – we put strokes on each lip.
We leave a place for glare on the lower lip.

Stage 11
Apply shadows on the sides of the nose
Shade the nostrils tightly.

Stage 12
Do not stop there! We don’t want the face to be flat? Then apply shadows
Darken the cheekbones with a hard pencil H (it is better to draw the skin with a harder pencil)
Make shadows under the eyebrows, and do not forget about the shadow on the neck from the chin!

Stage 13
At this stage, you can proceed to the shading of the hair!

Stage 14
Finally, we start drawing hairstyles – are you curious about portraying shiny hair?
It is enough to shade some areas on the hair to get voluminous curls!

Stage 15

Women drawing full body ( option 2)

Work Stages:

Photo 1. First, you need to draw a vertical centerline with a simple pencil. At the edges of the segment, leave serifs. They will determine the total height of the body beyond which you can not go:

Photo 2. Divide the segment in half. Thus, the line is divided into two parts, along which we will later build the body. Next, divide the upper portion in half again, and measure another half from the resulting top section. The first segment is the height of the women’s head:

Photo 3. Now you need to outline the location of the shoulders. The shoulder line will be under the head, namely under the second (top) notch. Step back a little from the head, leaving a small space for the neck. Draw a line of the shoulders at an angle, because the woman will be leaning a little:

Photo 4. Next, we need to find out the place of the waist and knees. To do this, divide the center line into three parts. To do this easily, we share the lower half of the centerline in half, but the front of the knees will be slightly higher. We measure its height and transfer it to the centerline three times, leaving serifs. The result should be three equal parts:

Photo 5. Now we outline the waistline. It will be located on the notch between the first and second half of the divided center line (there are three parts in total), and the hips are slightly lower and twice as wide as the waist. We draw the bones and the size at an angle, opposite the shoulders:

Photo 6. Combine the shoulders and the waist at the edges, and from the waist draw a line to the hips. It is necessary to outline the length of the skirt – it will be equal to two distances from the waist to the hips:

Photo 7. From the shoulders, we outline the location of the hands. The left-arm will be bent at the elbow and located at the waist level, and the right arm will be raised and set aside:

Photo 8. Now draw the legs. Do not forget that the knees should be located at the notch level. The right leg will go a little beyond the left:

Photo 9. We draw the head in the shape of an oval, and on it “outline” the hair. Most of them will fall to the left side:

Photo 10. Draw our hands and give them shape. The girl will hold her left hand at the waist, and her right hand is set aside:

Photo 11. Next, draw women’s clothes. She is wearing a striped T-shirt and skirt. We outline bends and folds on the fabric:

Photo 12. Using the eraser, delete the extra lines that were previously needed for the construction. Strengthen the contour of a women’s body:

Photo 13. Let’s draw the facial features of a woman. We do not place much emphasis on face painting, because our main task is to learn how to draw a woman to her full height, namely, the body. Photo 14. Let us set the tone for the hair. Near the bends we make the pencil strokes denser:

Photo 15. Now we draw the upper body of the woman: arms, chest, and face. Draw the stripes on the shirt:

Photo 16. The skirt will be dark, so we make the tone like hair:

Photo 17. Next, draw the legs. We apply strokes by bending the legs. On the lower part of the legs (under the knees), we make the tone a little darker:

Photo 18. The last stage remains. On it, we add contrast and select the body contour. We refine the missed steps. The drawing is ready.

At first, glance, drawing a full-length woman seems very complicated. And one cannot but agree with this.

Women drawing simple ( option 3)

First, draw an ordinary circle, which will determine the size of the women’s head.

Since our face will be slightly turned, that is, in three quarters, the chin is located a little on the side, like this.

The base is ready; we begin to draw the sideline of the face and the line of the chin with the jaw. You can also conveniently divide your face with a pair of guidelines.

We draw eyebrows along the horizontal guideline, and below them is the eyelid line of the drawn girl.

Next, draw the eyes, as shown below.

Focusing on the vertical guide, draw an elegant nose of the girl with a pencil.

Just below the circle line, you need to draw a women’s mouth.

Erase excess lines and strokes on the face.

Where the jaw ends, you need to draw a women’s ear – if you want to draw her with her hair gathered.
