- These animals absolutely can not jump or run, but they are excellent swimmers and can even go down to the depths. Another distinctive feature is the ability to walk, both quickly and slowly – in an hour, elephants can overcome 1-3 mile in an unhurried “mode,” and 15-20 mile when walking fast.
- The weight of a newborn baby elephant is as much as 120 kilograms, and when it grows up, its weight will reach five tons with a body length of 6-7 meters! The world’s most giant elephant was found 60 years ago and weighed 11 tons.
- Elephants are the owners of the most massive brain among the land inhabitants, so they are capable of training and can learn up to 60 teams.

Step 1
The entire upper body of the animal can be drawn in one line.
Stage 2
We depict the wavy line of the trunk.
Stage 3
Draw the lower part of the trunk, tusk and lower lip.
Stage 4
We draw an eye-circle and a long stroke – a big ear.
Stage 5
An incomplete rectangle will be the front foot of our elephant.
Stage 6
Another rectangle slightly extended downwards is the second front leg. The back leg is also drawn.
Stage 7
We connect the legs with a rounded tum and depict a fourth massive limb.
Stage 8
It remains the case for small – we denote a little tail and marigold.

Baby elephant drawing (Option 3)
Draw two intersecting circles. The small circle is the basis for the head. Big – for the body. Through a shorter loop, draw a slightly concave segment dividing the circle into two, almost identical, parts.
At the bottom, draw a horizontal line that will become a guideline in the process of working on a drawing. Additionally, draw a few auxiliary circles and an oval (see the figure below).
The smooth line connects the circle, tracing the forehead and trunk of an elephant.
Using ovals, draw the ears and eyes of an animal. Pay attention: ovals for ears are narrowed to a bottom.
To draw the body of an elephant, draw the line of the back, draw the front legs of the animal, the chest, the abdomen (see the picture below).
Draw the animal’s hind legs and tail. Note: the back legs of the animal are just above the auxiliary horizontal line.
Wipe auxiliary lines and draw basic ones. Color the animal on your own.
