How to draw a cup of coffee (top view)
I start by drawing a circle with a pencil.
Then I take a liner and trace around the pencil line.
Next, I draw two more lines to give volume to the cup: inside and outside the central circle at a distance of about 2-3 millimeters.
The next step is to screw on the handle and circle it with a liner.
We sketch the drawing on the foam with a pencil.
After that, I take a pale blue color and fill the pattern on the foam. Try not to crawl out of the pencil lines with paint so that you can erase them later.
After the drawing is completely dry, I take water and fill the rest of the cup with water.
I am moving on to the fun part. First, I add yellow to the center of the cup.
Then I add a more saturated dark orange color and fill all the remaining space.
Then grab the brown one and start adding it from the top left corner.
When completely dry, take a dark brown and paint a shadow following the light source.
I also draw a dark brown color around the inside of the cup.
Add a drop shadow from the handle and cup with a light gray color, and let the paint dry completely.
Erase all pencil lines.
Add bubbles with a liner.
The final touch: use a brush to spray drops of brown paint around the cup. The main thing is not to overdo it.
