How to draw a cow for kids

Children since childhood know that a cow gives milk, “makes mu-mu”, and also cheerfully nibbles grass in the meadow. Some of them saw a cow in a village with a grandmother, some only on the pages of books and cartoons. But, in any case, it will be interesting to learn how to draw a cow for children.

Let’s start with the torso. To do this, draw a sizeable horizontal oval.

On the right, draw a smaller vertical oval – this will be the head.

Let us separate the front part of the face with a semicircular line and draw ears similar to two petals.

We now draw straight horns, small eyes and nostrils.

Then you need to draw four straight legs. Do not make them too thin – after all, they need to keep quite a lot of weight.

And, of course, need a tail with a tassel.

The cows are often spotted. Therefore we will add some large oval spots.

To make the drawing look more expressive, it is better to bring out the contours.

Now we paint. Paint the spots, hooves and tail of the cow with black, the inside of the ears and the front of the face are pink. And do not forget to draw the nipple – it should also be pink.

How to draw a cow

The cow is familiar to all since childhood. Someone saw them, coming to the village to the grandmother, someone – passing by former train pastures, someone – in educational programs or on the pages of encyclopedias. In India, this intelligent, sedate animal is even sacred; cows are worshipped and cared for in every way. And if you wanted to figure out how to draw a cow in stages, then this lesson is what you need.

Let’s start with the basics – drawing auxiliary figures. We outline two circles of medium size, adjacent almost strictly to each other.

At the left above the left circle draw another small circle. This is the basis for the head. Immediately mark it with a horizontal and vertical axis. Notice that the vertical axis protrudes beyond the ring. This is done because the muzzle will be elongated.

Finish the oval on the vertical axis, and also place in the upper part two parallel semicircles – ears.

Smooth lines connect all the circles between them. In the area of the abdomen, an edge should be entirely convex. We also make axles for legs and tail.

Now let’s work on your head. Oval, small-sized eyes will be located in the upper third. In the lower third, we draw the nostrils and the mouth. The upper lip will be slightly larger than the bottom.

Correct the shape of the ears and cheekbones. And also – add hair on the forehead.

Let’s go back to the legs – they need to add thickness. The front and rear legs are drawn in different ways: the front legs will be thinner and more straight, and the back legs – with a peculiar bend and thickening upwards.

Let’s draw our cow a nipple, a tail with a brush and correct the contour of the back and abdomen.

Now you need to remove all the extra lines. It is necessary to erase them carefully so as not to hook on the main contours.

Go to the hatching. Carefully make your shadows. It is important not to put pressure on the pencil: if anything, it is better to do the shading in several layers.
