Lactose is a milk sugar that requires the enzyme lactase to digest. Active production of this substance falls during breastfeeding, and after weaning the child from the breast, the amount of enzyme gradually decreases. And this is logical: in ancient times, adult representatives of Homo sapiens did not need the ability to digest lactose, as there were no dairy products in their diet. The emergence of the lactose tolerance gene during life is an evolutionary advantage that only 32% of the world’s population still possesses.

Probably because the ancestors of modern Europeans were the first in the world to drink it, most of their descendants today have no problem digesting dairy products. Melted milk is also produced by long, even heating: it has a characteristic caramel color and taste but loses some vitamins, such as C and B1. But it has a higher calcium, iron, and vitamin A concentration.

Step one
To draw milk in a carton, you need to know how to pull it. Fortunately, this is not difficult to do at all. First, we need to draw one of the sides as a rectangle, like this.
Now, let’s draw the second visible side of the box. It should connect one side to the first rectangle, and the top sides should form an angle.
Got it? It’s time to draw the top of the milk carton. Above the first rectangle, draw a triangle, draw a line, and connect it to the edge. It looks like the roof of a house, doesn’t it?
We must add details to make our drawing look like a carton of stored milk. Now, we can proceed to the second step.
Step two
Here, we need to add details to make the milk drawing more exciting. I decided to draw a cute little cow on one of the sides.
Add a spout and funny eyes to the cow.
On the second side of the milk carton, draw an inscription and a square that tells that our milk is the freshest and tastiest.
I also draw stripes on one of the sides, like this.
Also, the same stripes need to be drawn in the corner at the top.
So, drawing milk is almost finished, and we can start coloring.
Step three
I decided to draw milk in blue tones; you can draw your milk carton in a brighter color scheme.
Paint the background with a light blue color, and add a long shadow with a slightly darker shade on the side of the carton.
I take a shade of blue, even darker, and paint the shaded side of the milk carton. The same color should paint the corner, as the least light falls. The illuminated side of the carton should be painted with a lighter color, but it must be darker than the background. I leave the cow white.
